About
I am interested in studying the school-prison nexus, with a specific emphasis on how transformative and abolitionist pedagogies and possibilities can manifest in the schooling space. In other words, I am interested in how carceral logics can show up in the schooling institution, as well as how certain pedagogies and practices, such as ethnic studies, queerness, ungovernability, and fugitivity can transform and inform our pursuit of abolitionist futures.
