About

Casey is a PhD Candidate in Criminology, Law, and Justice at UIC in which she does quantitative and qualitative research. Her research focuses on sexual assault broadly with specific interests in mental health outcomes for survivors, sexual assault prevention, multiple perpetrator sexual assault, and media representations of crime and victimization. Casey’s research interests are influenced by her time as a victim advocate and community educator as well as her educational background in Psychology (BA), Prevention Science (M.Ed.), and Criminology (M.A).
