Racial capitalist logics prioritize engaging in work from the neck up, Justice Cream challenges this notion by incorporating philosophies and practices merging the mind and body towards community care, compassion, and interdependency. Using Justice Cream as a case study, this session will provide political education and community knowledge building on the role of care and embodiment in solidarity economies. We will delve specifically on the process Justice Cream followed to develop a curriculum for a study group using the lenses of critical pedagogy.
